unlike a piece of linear fiction where the only parts you’re going to go through are the parts that are important to the characters’ evolution, I have the reverse problem. I have a world. I have a message. And then the characters are there to support the world and the message. They’re all parts of the same puzzle, but I have to solve a different set of parts first
